Camp Stride
Background
Camp Stride is a summer retreat hosted by Stride Consulting, a company of software developer + consultants who help make tech companies the best they can be.
Having worked with Stride in the past as a full time developer + consultant, it was fun to come back and design a logo for their company retreat in upstate New York. The design uses elements from their corporate logo while being a fun standalone identity.

The logo’s concept comes from vintage embroidered scout patches. From the corporate logo I borrowed the diamond shape, the angular look of the mountains within, and the colors. I selected two non-brand fonts (Garage Gothic and Tilda) to give this project its own fun identity and to lend some whimsical camp vibes. Here’s hoping Stride decides to create an actual patch out of this for swag.
